Well all the siding gone...

They finished stripping off the siding. I have now had a number of people call to ask WHAT I am doing to my house. When I was taking this picture neighbor stepped out to inquire as well.

It should be done late next week and will upload pictures when it is done. Right now it is ugly, I'm hoping it looks a lot better when they are done. Oh yah, and it will have plum colored doors. My contractor was puzzled but ordered them. The artist in me says not quite complimentary but nice contrast.

Removing the siding killed all the plants!

They are mostly perennials and are safe under the snow and mulch. The big tall green stuff in the before picture is Baptista (false indigo). I couldn't quickly find a better picture of the "before" house so used one of plants with house in background.

With the guys tramping around, the snow is ugly but that should change real soon now.

Back to wrestling with spreadsheets. Scheduling for Fall semester, 4D puzzles R us.
