this weekend
Dec. 11th, 2011 09:09 pmThree days in a row of sunshine! We paid for this with cold air and wind chills in the single digits positive F. I make note of this fact because this is a rare occurrence in Michigan in December, January & February. Cold air blowing over un-frozen large lake means clouds. As we are surrounded on all sides it doesn't matter which way the wind blows, we almost always have clouds and/or snow.
Went to see Arthur Christmas this afternoon. When I first saw the ads I figured gak! another Xmas movie. Then I discovered that it was from Aardman the makers of Wallace and Gromit and it became a whole other thing. The animation was good and the script was excellent. It is a totally different take on Santa and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.
I just finished with the Fall semester torture devices, otherwise known as Final Exams. Sent them off to be copied. Torture begins tomorrow. Grades due a week from tomorrow and then three weeks off. Joy!
Officially got the check from last weekend, I actually made money as long has you don't count my time.
