Ice started accumulating at about 6pm. The world outside is crystalline and sparkly.

I just heard something big go down behind me. I'm guessing one of the neighbor's box elders but it is too dark to see anything. I expect there will be more of the same before the night is over.

EtA: a couple of branches just went down, a similar but less booming a noise then the last.
