On the way in to school I saw the golf course Great Blue Heron take off from the water feature. I do love those big silly birds, all dangly legs and magnificence.

After school I headed to the credit union and waved to the Trowbridge Red Tail. I saw three fat MSU woodchucks eating dinner. The nearby swamp had it's green herons in residence. And as I turned into my street a small hawk streaked across my view before disappearing sunward.

Walnuts in the driveway when I got home. Squirrels are again experimenting with car as nutcracker. That is all.
