Now would be a good time for a thunderstorm or three. They seem to be happening west of here but NOT here. It is positively melty out there. I had to do all sorts of non-fun things out in the heat this afternoon and am now hunkered down in the A/C. I bought this house 20-some odd years ago because it came with central A/C. I've upgraded the system since but never regretted the decision.

We won't break the record today (which is 99 degrees F) for which I am VERY glad. Hotter tomorrow.
